All,

Any one worked with ISO8583 standard messages?

Since it has variable length fields on bit maps how we can parse the primary & secondary maps values.

What is the standard design approaches can be followed in these scenarios?

mqjeff is correct - the MRM parser cannot parse ISO8583. You should use WebSphere TX within message broker:
If on v6.1:

..or.. you can write your own little parser..

read it as BLOB and do the parsing in java node

looks scary in the beginning but after little practice in bitmap mappings it is not so hard..

I did it in one afternoon... (and I am lousy Java programmer)..
