It looks like WMQFTE 7.0.0.0 does not honors exitClassPath in agent.properties.
Can someone confirm this?
Can someone suggest a workaround?
Cheers,

Hi Fred,
I'm not aware of any problems in this area. Can you give a bit more information than "it doesn't work" please? A copy of your agent.properties would be helpful, as well as the location in the filesystem you're expecting to load classes from, and what files are at that location.
Cheers,

Hi Pete,
thanks for your note, I think we found the cause of our problem: exitClassPath must not include the full path and file name of the jar containing the exit code (Ã la CLASSPATH syntax, hence our mistake), but rather just the full path where the .jar is stored.
The .jar filename itself will not appear anywhere in WMQFTE configurations.
Cheers,
F. |

Hi Fred,
I must admit I haven't personally used the exitClass property; for my simple exits I tend to just copy a class hierarchy into the agent's exits directory. I too might have assumed it would take the jar file name; I'm glad you've got it working.
Cheers,
