We are currently running WMB 6.0.0.3, WMQ 6.0.3.2 FP 6 and DB2 verion 8.1. We would like to upgrade the broker to 6.1. The questions is whether we have to apply all the FIX pack for 6.0 version and upgrade to 6.1 or we can directly upgrade to 6.1?

If you want to migrate an existing broker from version 6.0 to version 6.1, it's better to do it after you have installed the latest FPs for 6.0.

If you want to create a new 6.1 broker coexistant with your 6.0 broker and then migrate your flows individually, it's irrelevant what FP level the 6.0 broker is at.

You will need DB2 8.2 for WMB 6.1, but DB2 8.1 FP 7+ is equivalent.
