Hi,

Issue: While upgrading MQ from V5.3 to V6.02.4 i have selected domain controlled ID and used a Windows domain ID.As this ID needs a passwd change every 60 days all mqprocess/services are stopped.
Now i would like to use MUSR_MQADMIN.

Tried : DCOM>IBM MQSeries Services> Identity Properties to MUSR_MQADMIN but i don't know the password.
Is their any work around.without knowing password

Switching to MUSR_MQADMIN isn't really going to help. You can set the password for this user through normal means, and then use amqmdain or DCOMCFG to reset the value in the registry used by the IBM MQSeries Service.

But you really should just get the password policy amended for the domain user, in accordance with proper corporate policies.

Jeff thanks for the quick response .

i ran
AMQMJPSE -r to reset the user account back to the default MUSR_MQADMIN.

so far it looks good
