Hi,

To cut a long story short, it looks like we are going to require to use this to set up our new BizTalk/MQ based app.

I can't seem to find any reference to this software on IBMs website (v7 preferably but v6 if need be). Does anyone have any info on accessing/purchasing this? Am I right in saying it is licensed product unlike the base MQ client?

Many thanks.

It is licensed at the same price as the queue manager (AFAIK). Check with your local IBM sales rep.

I thought I read that somewhere, but I just found a document that stated installing MQv6 client with FP 11 provides this extended transaction client support.

Similarly, looking at the partnerworld downloads, you can find the MQv5.3 extended transaction client but nothing newer. This implies (to me) the functionality comes supplied with the base client 6.0 with FP 11 and therefore possible with subsequent releases such as MQ client v7.0.....??

My understanding is that it is shipped with the product but you must still license it if you use it.

Check with your IBM Sales Rep.
