All,

WMB 6.1.0.3 has now CEI build in as one of it's new features. Somewhere in the documentation I found:

Quote:
Events are published to a WebSphere MQ topic, where they can be read by multiple subscribers. The topic name is of the form:
$SYS/Broker/<brokerName>/Monitoring/<executionGroupName>/<flowName>

Somehow this does not seem to happen... Note that I use MQ7 and have disabled the broker Pub/Sub to use the new Pub/Sub from MQ7.

Has anyone got this to work? Any ideas on how I can "debug" this... Monitoring is on for the flow, but can't see any evidence of events actually being created...

cheers,

Ward.

Take a user trace. Every time an event gets emitted, you should see a BIP3912 in the user trace. If you see these and events are still not appearing, then at least you know that your message flow is configured correctly.
If you don't see BIP3912, issue mqsireportflowmonitoring with the -n option. It will tell you whether monitoring is active for the flow ( you did activate monitoring for that flow, didn't you ) and it will list the configured event sources.
