When working from a WAS with extended message support to MQ on the same machine, I get normal behaviour.
When changing the MQ to a remote machine, I get errors.
First, I got errors on MDB's, solved it by JMSAdmin objects (QFC..)
Now I'm getting errors on standard JMS code:
- XA client regected connection
- Cannot find queue manager.
This is happening on load, after dealing few messages without problems.
IS it a channel problem?
Where can I get more information on remote MQ?
Please help |

Hi,
Take a look at the Intercommunication manual. A few hints:
- ensure network connectivity is in place
- ensure listeners are running on correct ports
- check if your qmgr is running

Thanks! I will search the book.
Since some of the messages are passing, and I get an error only after few messages, it seems like an over-load problem, or something about the load on the channel or port.
Any particular setting need to take place? |

Hi,
don't think so. a few questions:
- are all messages the same size
- are all messages being sent using the same application
- how many active connections does the qmgr have at the time
- does the qmgr have a dead letter queue defined
- anything in the MQ error logs

I think I found it,
Since I open both MDB's and JMS classes, AIX can hanld eup to 100 connections on the same port.
So I reached this limit..
I need to set a new QMGR on another port and devide the load.
Thanks a lot! |
