Hi MQers,

I think this is an easy one for you (unfortunately I have not been abke to find conclusive evidence in the infocenter):

Is there a way of specifying several topics in the TOPICSTR attribute of a DEFINE SUB command?

...the idea is to capture with a single SUB definition all pubblication on e.g.:

/MYTOPICS/THIS
/MYTOPICS/OTHER

but not

/MYTOPICS/THAT

Or more in general two different topics that cannot otherwise identified by with wildcard based filters alone.

Cheers,
F.

No. You can use wild cards to subscribe to all topics at a given level (and all topics below that as well if required), but you can't exclude a particular topic from a wild card. Maybe you need to redesign your topic heirarchy to suit the requirements of the subscribers.
