Hi All,
I have a scenario where I need to poll a file which is without extension.
So under Jtext Meta Object - Common Configuration Tasks there are 2 fields.
1. EventDir : where I can enter the absolute path from where the file has to be polled by Jtext.
2. EventExt : Where I can enter the extension type of the file or leave it blank. If this field is left blank then Jtext adapter will poll the files which are without extension.
So I am having a file type with a specific Naming convention in a given directory but this directory also holds some other file types without extension. This causing adapter to poll all the files which are without extension in the given directory.
So do I need to have a specific directory for this specific file types which Jtext is polling or is it possible to poll the file type of my choice from the same given directory which is holding other files also.(According to my knowledge and Jtext Documentation, JText doesn't have file name specific polling, please correct me if I am wrong)
Appreciate your update.
Regards,
Vinayak |

Hi,
The current WBI Adapter Framework version is 2.6.0.3 and Jtext Version is 5.6.3. So according to the links you provided, I can say that my jtext fix pack version is not an issue.
You mentioned that a file can be polled based on its name alone(and without extension)
But Jtext Meta Object - Common Configuration Tasks doesn't show any such field to poll the file specifically by its name alone.
Please update further on this.
Thanks,
Vinayak |
