AFAIK no, but I'm sure a brief experiment on your part will confirm or deny this. Please post your results. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Very blonde moment here... I checked my startup for V6.0 vs startup for V6.1.
V6.0 start up with wmbt and V6.1 with passing parms to eclipse.
For V6.1 the startup is:
"C:\Program Files\IBM\WMBT610\eclipse.exe" -product com.ibm.etools.msgbroker.tooling.ide
I've tried a few different startup directories, but I expect a path is kicking in, I always get V6.1 toolkit.
any kind soul out there that knows how I can try to startup toolkit V6.0 while using eclipse version that came with V6.1? _________________ If you do not know the answer or you get the urge to answer with "RTFM" or "Search better in this forum", please refrain from doing so, just move on to the next question. Francois, I believe (ik gloob) that you might be facing incompatibilities. I seem to remember that toolkit 6.0 did not let you upgrade your version of eclipse without painfull difficulties or breaking... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Are you no longer running 6.0 Toolkit, FJ? Good news!
Francois -
You can't do this the way you're attempting to.
You can, if you're feeling very much like causing trouble, ATTEMPT to add the Broker 6.0 as a Extension Location (in the manner of installing something like IS02 to MQ Explorer) to an Eclipse 3.2 install (do NOT use Broker 6.1 Toolkit's install for this!).
But I strongly suspect that it will all work very badly, or not at all. Eclipse 3.0 features are not strongly compatible with Eclipse 3.2. |
