We are on SunOS and MQ version 6.

I am trying to get some MQ stats with amqsmon in the following way:

1. I turned on the STATQ parameter for QMgr, QM1 and queue, Q1 by providing STATQ(ON) attribute.

2. Put some messages on the queue, Q1 for a period of 17 minutes.

3. Reset the the stats:
RESET QMGR TYPE(STATISTICS)

4. Run the amqsmon utility in the following way.

I tried like this:
Case 1:
RESET QMGR TYPE(STATISTICS)

./amqsmon -m ${QMgr} -b -t statistics -s "2009-03-13 10.45" -e "2009-03-13 11.02" > /tmp/out

cat /tmp/out
0 Records Processed.

Then later I tried this for the same test:
Case 2:
RESET QMGR TYPE(STATISTICS)

./amqsmon -m ${QMgr} -b -t statistics -q ${queue} > /tmp/out1

I see the PutCount: [7332, 0] for the same time period.

I thought, the amqsmon will provide me the stats for a period of time whichever I will provide... lets say: -s "2009-03-13 10.45" -e "2009-03-13 11.02" ...for 17 minutes.
