Hi,
I'd like to know if I can revert WMQI 2.1 to MQSI 2.0.2 as follows:
1) uninstall WMQI 2.1
2) install MQSI 2.0.2
What happens to the (DB2) broker database with WMQI 2.1 objects in it ? Do I have to:
1) create a temporary broker with same db
2) delete the temporary broker
Does the above remove the WMQI 2.1 objects ?
Thanks

MVO,
Your WMQI 2.1 objects are stored into MRM and config mgr database. Broker database is used by broker process internally.
Do you also want to revert back your Config mgr to Ver 2.0.2?
I think the broker database schema for 2.1 is different than 2.0.2 so you can not reuse the existing database while creating the broker in lower version.
If I want to revert back to previous version of MQSI (for broker) would do this:
0. Take a backup of existing plug-in lil files, odbc connections, etc.
1. First make a note of components deployed to this broker (Execution Groups names, Msg Flows, Message Sets).
2. Delete the broker from the topology using Control Center.
3. Physically delete the broker (use mqsidelete command, no need to delete the queue manager).
4. Uninstall WMQI 2.1
5. Install MQSI 2.0.2
6. Create new broker with existing queue manager on solaris (use mqsicreatebroker).
7. Add this newly created broker to the topology using Control Center. _________________ Kiran
