I want to use both 5.3 and 6.1 broker runtime and tool kit versions seperately on my desktop . HOW can i toggle between the two runtimes whenever i wish . At present i am getting errors while creating the broker on 6.1:
BIP8703S: Column 'RTD_MSG_SET_ALIAS' is missing from database table 'DB2ADMIN.BR
MRTDINFO'
BIP8703S: Column 'PROCARCHITECTURE' is missing from database table 'DB2ADMIN.BRO
KERAAEG'
BIP8702W: The post-migration check failed. See previous messages for possible ca
uses.
Configuration errors for the component were found, signifying that the component
configuration is not correct. The previous messages provide details of the erro
rs.
Examine the previous messages to determine the cause of the failure. If you are
migrating, you might need to undo the migration by using the different options o
f the mqsimigratecomponents command. If you are creating a broker, check that th
e persistent store of the broker does not contain tables from a different broker
version.

Hi faizadija,
First of all, AFA my knowledge goes I dont think that there is any version of MB called as 5.3 (please chk on this, it might be version 5).
Do let us know whether you trying to migrate from verions 5 to verison 6.1 or trying to have a co-existance between the two.
From what you have written in your post, I understand that you want both the version 5 and 6.1 of broker on your machine, so that you can toggle between them.
If that is the case, I would suggest you go with co-existance between the two version (which is quite obviously possible) rather doing the migration.
You will find all the help required from the product documentation or online on IBM websites.
Also do mention what OS are you working on.
Happy working
