Currently we are planning to move our architecture from MB 5.0 to MB 6.1 and MQ 5.3 to MQ 7.0

Doing a installation of this components.

1) Broker toolkit and config manager on Windows XP with ibm db2 for configdb

2) Broker on AIX machine.

While we got DVD from IBM, they missed out the Message Broker Toolkit 6.1 .

So as a workaround , have installed on Message Broker Toolkit 5.0 and rest of the compenents ie MQ 7.0 , config manager 6.1 and broker 6.1

As of now when i try to create broker on Toolkit 5.0 , its not letting me to do so.

Domain configured as shows as restricted acces.

Is there a way i can Use Toolkit 5.0 and get the work done ?

Regards,
logic0

If you have paid money for the software then IBM should have given you an IBM ID. With this you can download the toolkit. Your IBM rep will help you here.

This electronic Download is the way forward. You can the cut your own DVD's with the files downloaded. I do this. I include the relevant fix packs etc on the DVD so I am sure i have everything I need to install it all when I go on site.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
