Hi All,

When Queue is full or Queue Depth is High we generally come to know if any Monitoring tool is used as it will send the Alert. or if we do

Display QUEUE.

Now My question is " Does MQ logs any entry in the logs or anywhere else that the Queue is Full.

I've checked the error logs no entry :(

Appreciate ur response on this ASAP.

Thanks
Eshwar

If enabled, the queue manager produces these. Some monitoring tools use this technology.

As the documentation clearly states, events are placed in the event queue.

It's a shame you didn't check the infocentre; then you'd have looked in the right place.

An application trying to put to a full queue will additionally receive a specific error code. If this is a channel MCA, that will write to it's log
