I am having trouble getting the BlockIP2 code onto the iseries because of the 80 character limitation when I dump it to QCSRC. Is there one for the Iseries that is already formatted?
I am also having trouble with it finding cmqc.h and other headers. They are located on the Iseries IFS directory and I have pointed to them when doing the CRTCMOD command but still gives errors.
Thanks for your info, I don't think management will let us go with a product beta right now but I will keep that in mind for the future.
Update:
I got the code to compile with CRTCMOD as the source needed to be in the IFS directory and not a library. Once I created the module and did the CRTSRVPGM it failed because it does not like the LOG_PID part of the code. I can get it to work if I comment that part out but that means that I have no logs on the Iseries for BLOCKIP2. Anyone have any suggestions on this?
For the security exit we put LIBRARY/Program and then in the user data pointed it to the ini file in the IFS. It is blocking everything right now but without a log I can fix the issue. I am guessing it is not picking up the .ini file
