Hi Folks!
I understand SYSTEM.CLUSTER.TRANSMIT.QUEUE is the default transmit queue used for ALL the Cluster communications. Now, let's say I have a cluster with several Queue Managers hosting queues for several different applications. Now, when one of the queue managers go down, messages destined for that queue manager starts queueing up on SYSTEM.CLUSTER.TRANMSIT.QUEUE (let's say that's the only Queue manager hosting that queue at that point). Now, since I have a build-up in the SYSTEM.CLUSTER.TRANSMIT.QUEUE, will the messages destined for healthy Queue Managers (for other Applications) need to WAIT till all the messages that are sitting there clear up? Or they will be transmitted without any problem?
Thanks for your input.

What do you think is the sensible thing that MQ should do? (yes, that's what it does) _________________ Glenn |

You gave away the answer without forcing the original poster to work it out and learn for themselves! _________________ Glenn |

This is what I get for trying this "nice" thing. "Be helpful", they say. "Reach out", they say.
Proves I should go with my first instincts.
Gosh, they're going to enjoy the design meeting this morning..... _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
