Hi,
I've AIX box where qmgr has its dead letter queue damaged (I believe this was because a full file system problem...). The dlq name is the SYSTEM.DEAD.LETTER.QUEUE, I cannot create a new one, nor delete it.
The temporary solution was to assign another queue to qmgr dlq.
How can I recover from this? It a v 6.0.2.4
Thanks!

You can use any queue as a dead-letter queue, as long as you alter the DEADQ attribute of the queue manager object.
When you say you can't delete SYSTEM.DEAD.LETTER.QUEUE, what exactly happens? Some kind of error message? Did you look it up?
What does the message mean? What action does it suggest? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Thanks!
It was late.. I repeatedly tried to define the SYSTEM.DEAD.LETTER.QUEUE without deleting if first...
Question solved!
