We have queuemanagers(v 6.0) running on linux box. i was wondered that default listeners running even they do not defined listener object under queue manager and not added portnumber/tcp to etc/services file. can anyone helpout how it is possible?
As mqjeff mentioned the standalone listener (runmqlsr) is independent by the inetd and services settings. You can retrieve the status of the listener with display lsstatus(*).
I would surely hope that tanishka is no longer using inetd as it's V6.0 _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys.
