Opened a PMR but didn't help because it is WBIMB v5.0 no support _________________ IBM ->Let's build a smarter planet |

Then it's not the same problem.
You have a phantom execution group. Happy Searching. |

I agree with you if it happens everytime when we bounce the broker,
When the broker is bounced it will be fine for one or two days, slowly it will start creating a new DataFlowEngine and it have found 20 DataFlowEngine process at one time.
It is something interesting, but everytime we are killing the process manually, still trying to find what is causing it to create those weird processes. _________________ IBM ->Let's build a smarter planet |

mr broker_new, you shd have a started a new topic-thread. The problem you are facing is different from this topic's subject.
the last time i faced the phantom exc-grp problem, i undeployed flows, deleted exc-grp, broker, deleted all references from config-mgr to this broker, recreated broker, exc-grps, & deployed flows. It helped to fix it.
may be there is an easy way to fix this, im not sure |

Implemented the same but no Luck (delete and recreated) .
I've set up a cronjob which will check for the No of processes for the broker if there are more with runaway process then we are killing them forcibly _________________ IBM ->Let's build a smarter planet |

This is not the right way. Open a PMR with IBM. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Patience Grasshopper, Patience.
(well thats what you will need unless you can recreate the problem without problem on other systems).
This sort of problem is very difficult to diagnose so it might take some time before you get a fix unless, one of the V6 fixpacks already has a fix included.
You have looked at the fixes included in the various V6 fixpacks haven't you? _________________ WMQ User since 1999
