Hi All, tried to search this issue but could not get answer, might be my query was not enough for the search,
I have broker and toolkit installed on windows (V6.1). Now I have db2 database on windows and I am able to connect it properly. But now I want to connect my broker to db2 database remote(ie on solaris) and I tried to create the system DSN but when I do a test connection I get error as
communication function detecting the error : "connect". Protocol specific error code(s). "10061","*","8".SQLSTATE=08001
Any idea what this error is about. Thanks |

This is a DB2 connection error, not a broker error. Resolve the SQLCODE in the usual way, i.e. ask Mr Google what it means. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Faced by most people who've tried to connect to a remote DB2 database; it's the 2059 of the DB2 world. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
