Hi All,
Our application is sending messages of length 130MB each. We want to do the message segmentation on MQ side after receiving it on the queue manager, however, as I have read in documentation it says that the maximum message length that MQ can handle is 100MB. If so, we cannot receive the 130MB message from the application via SVRCONN channel, hence no chance for message segmentation on MQ side... Am I right regarding the message length? Would it be possible to increase the message length of the SVRCONN channel beyond 100MB? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance. |

Maximum message length for a physical message is 100MB. You could use Message Groups to send a logical message that consists of multiple physical messages whose total application data exceeds 100MB.
Refer to Message Groups in the WMQ Application Programming Guide and WMQ Application Programming Reference. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
