Hi ,

My flow having FileInput Node ,I need follwing FileInput Node properties values for deploying on Unix machine.

1)Encoding
2)File Coded Charset Identifier


Please help on this.

We can't tell you what codepage your file is in! Probably ASCII 850 or 437.

These values are needed because there is no MQMD with the information in.

Simply set the values you are using (look at a MQMD of a message from the same platform or the QM CCSID default).

The FileInput node should use the same values to read the files that the source application(s) used to write them. Investigate how the source application(s) are writing files.

If the source application(s) and broker are running on the same native platform, then the default values might be appropriate.

If the files are text files, (i.e. no binary integers, decimals, or floats) then "Message encoding" is not used.

These are PC-based CCSIDs. They wouldn't be my first guess for Unix-based files.
