- don't run such an old and dubious version of WMQ (you should at least be on CSD11)

- make sure the saveqmgr you have is the v5.3 version

- don't run such and old and dubious version of WMQ (this is so important I mention it twice)

I do have my email address in the read.me, you can always contact me directly.

You are trying to use a 64-bit executable on a 32-bit platform.

All of the Unix binaries that are shipped with MS03 in the current releases are built as 64-bit applications.

The Sun Studio compilers for rebuilding solaris are freely available from Sun's website (or at least, it appears so: http://developers.sun.com/sunstudio/products/previous/11/index.jsp ), so you can download and install that and rebuild MS03 from the included source as a 32-bit application. If you send me an email, I'll give you instructions on how to edit the makefile.

You will need to go back to the documentation for MQ v5.3 and find out what the supported compiler level for Sun One compiler is, and download that. The link I posted is for version 11, which I doubt is supported for v5.3.

Or you can run the client version from a Windows machine. Or you can configure channels to another qmgr on a newer platform that does support 64bit executables and run saveqmgr with the -r/--remoteQMgr option.

In fact, this is the wrong thing to do. Any version of ms03 that is prior to 6.0.3.a should be considered harmful, and there are still bugs in 6.0.3.a that aren't fixed until 6.1.1. And 6.1.1 should run fine against a v5.3 qmgr, assuming it is capable of running on the platform at all.

Also, kodiarasan, I have not heard from you, so I am going to assume you've solved your problem one way or another.
