Hi,

We're receiving the below error quite regularly (sometimes after a minute, sometimes after 50) -

23/01/2009 10:42:53 - Process(19601.1) User(mqm) Program(runmqchl_nd)
AMQ9206: Error sending data to host mq-proxy (172.31.181.74).

EXPLANATION:
An error occurred sending data over TCP/IP to mq-proxy (172.31.181.74). This
may be due to a communications failure.
ACTION:
The return code from the TCP/IP(write) call was 32 X('20'). Record these values
and tell your systems administrator.


Does anyone know what 'The return code from the TCP/IP(write) call was 32 X('20'). ' refers to please? I've tried searching for this 32 X('20') code but can't find anything of significant.

Could anyone shed any light on this?

We're using MQ6 and MQIPT.

from the tcp ip api manual (z/OS)

Code:
The connection is broken. For
socket write/send, peer has shut
down one or both directions.

Reconnect with the peer.


not sure if this really matches your "32".....
