Anyone have any experience with developing custom widgets for use with Business space?

I have seen the sample in the Info Center, but up to now I am unable to get it to work.

Any tips would be appreciated

John,

which version + service level are you talking about?
Can you be more specific what problems you encounter?

Hi Volker:

I am running with the base GA V 6.2 as released in December.

I am becoming convinced that the widgets are developed using some add on to WID that I do not have, and I can not find documented.

I can find no way to define the samples included inside WID that does not flag all of the dojo statements. I can modify these with a Text editor outside of WID, and I can run the updated widgets, but there must be some jar file, or maybe plugin that I need to add to my WID project.

Thanks

John

Hi John,

you need to make WID 'aware' of the dojo classes.
You need to check what's included and add it on the CLASSPATH.
Sorry for not being more specific, I did not check it personally, just asked a colleague.
