Where can I get the library that supports the encoding 284 ?

I am having

Code:

java.io.UnsupportedEncodingException: 284
   at com.ibm.mq.headers.CCSID.getJmqiCodepage(CCSID.java:99)
   at com.ibm.mq.headers.CCSID.getEncoder(CCSID.java:127)
   at com.ibm.mq.headers.Charsets.findEncoder(Charsets.java:182)

and I already have i18n.jar there, but 284 is not in it.
[/code]

Hi,

When you install the JDK, do a custom install and select the international languages.

Hi,

Humm, that usually does the trick for me (for other CCSIDs) but I've never explicitly needed CCSID 284.

Try adding the JDK/JRE's "charsets.jar" to the CLASSPATH.
