Hi All,
I have small question on Omegamon.
Can we perform all the MQ Admin functions like Creating the Queue Manager, Channles, Queues, etc.., from the Omegamon Consoe by installing the Omegamon agent and adding the Server to the Console.
Or Omegamon is just used for Monitoring. Please let me know.
I have never worked on Omegamon and my companys is using it.
I worked on Qpasa and I can do all the MQ Admin Functions which I have mentioned above.
Appreciate if anyone updates me on this.
The Omegamon version which we are using is 6.0

Omegamon has 3 components; MQ monitoring, broker monitoring, and MQ configuration.
The configuration component allows you to define, modify, etc. MQ objects. |

well,,, I have the omegamon outsourced and what I can do is to run OS commands.... so you can send the command that corresponds to your action, like:
CRTMQM MQNAME(NEWQMGR) ........
and pray for it to execute successfully... |
