Hello,

in a previous version of my brokerflow, I used the ASBISTREAM and CREATE functions to transform between CWF format and XML. This worked fine.

Since this is MessageBroker, having a mapping node and many wizards, I thought that there must be some built in nodes which can do the parsing.

Is there a better way to switch the messageformat? Or are these two esql lines just what I need?

Regards
Franz

Most users do this using an input node, some kind of transformation node, and an output node. In the transformation node they override OutputRoot.Properties.MessageSet/Type/Format.
You probably have some good reason for using CREATE...PARSE and ASBITSTREAM...but you didn't tell us about it.

If you really do need those functions, they are the correct way to do what you require.

True, great! And really easy with the mappingnode. Thank you.
