I can see the queue SYSTEM.ADMIN.QMGR.EVENT has some queue depth. As i am not sure about the target queue name of the application which is putting the messages to my queue manager. What can be done to get the queue depth reduced to zero.

The queue manager is putting those messages.

The "Start and stop events" qmgr attribute is enabled and thusly a message arrives in the queue whenever the queue manager is started/stopped.
If you don't want the messages just clear them. They are administration messages, not user messages. _________________ Make three correct guesses consecutively and you will establish a reputation as an expert. ~ Laurence J. Peter
