Hi
Is it mandatory to be logged in as root for WMQ Install? I have a user who is a Sudo user, is it good for WMQ 6 install On AIX 5.3?

I am getting an error while trying to run the installable using sudo user. It says "ksh: /usr/lib/instl/sm_inst: 0403-006 Execute permission denied

Yes, one should log in as 'root' for MQ install

You certainly do NOT need to log in as root. You have to have root privileges. That suggests your sudo is not correctly configured.
