Hi,

Environment is MQ v 6 on UNIX . Is there a quick command to display
port number of a particular Queue Manager name ?

No need , found the command :

ps -fu mqm | grep "runmqlsr"
answer is :

/opt/mqm/bin/runmqlsr -r -m QMDEV -t TCP -p 1931
mqm 16078 16074 0 09:11:39 ? 0:00 /opt/mqm/bin/runmqlsr -r -m QMDBROKER -t TCP -p 1915

Obvious question, as it's not explicit from your post...

Why not use a Listener object rather than run the command manually?

ya, better use listener object for MQ v6. The listener can be configured to start/stop automatically with the qmgr itself.
