Hi,

Could somebody please provide me with some advice on how I can authenticate a JMS MQSeries client connection. I don't want any encryption...just some basic authentication to verify that only authorised JMS applications are able to connect to the SVRCONN.

Platform is Solaris with MQSeries 5.2.

I have done some reading about the security exits but am completely lost as to how to actually implement them.

The third party security products that we use for our Server - to - Server channel security exits do not support JMS client connections.

Much appreciated

Ash,
London.
