Hello,
although cluster is working well, it surprises me that there is a huge difference between number of messages held in SYSTEM.CLUSTER.REPOSITORY.QUEUE on two FR qmgr's (for example, 591 comparing to 12).
I hope I'm worried without reason (except for unsufficient knowledge of MQ internals). Or externals? |

If your cluster works well you have no reason to worry. |

Even if your cluster is not working well, you cannot determine anything from the number of messages in the repository queue. So unless its zero, don't worry about. _________________ Peter Potkay

Just curious to know...the number of msgs in the SYSTEM.CLUSTER.REPOSITORY.QUEUE on both the FRs should be equal?.
Thanks. |

No, this isn't documented and who knows what is stored in what message on that queue. What I've learned though, is that there will always be at least 1 message(s) on the queue (even if the qmgr is not in the cluster) and you should probably have more if the cluster is working. |

SYSTEM.CLUSTER.REPOSITORY.QUEUE holds information about cluster. So there must be some message on it. and not necessarily both the FR will have the same number of messages. because theye are not copy of each other. |
