hey all,
well, i'm using a client application, which connects to a server.
both on platform Linux.
I'm putting msgs into the server, but when i shut it down, it takes forever untill the client gets a Connection Broken exception.
we've done some tests, with tracing and eventually got to the "heartbeat interval" parmeter.
we set it to 5 seconds at the Server, and also, we set the channel table to 5 seconds, then, after an exception that should be occured, its all ok.
but the problem is, that java doesnt use a channel table, and setting the HBINT only on the server side doesnt work...
anyone ever encountered this problem? how can i set at the java side the heartbeat parameter to solve this annoying problem?
Hoping for a quick reply
Thanks!
Ariel. |
