I've never heard of a tool called CSD in terms of WMQ.
As AkankshA said, CSD is the old name for a WMQ fix pack.

Ask whoever makes this CSD thing.
Please post details of what this tool is and what it does for the benefit of the wider community. I'm certainly interested. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Where did you see that?
CSD is a numbered package of fixes and updates for MQ (version 5.3 and older) that is used by the standard s/w installer for the platform. eg. MQ 5.3 CSD14.
Since MQ version 6.0 the fixes and updates have been called RefreshPack and FixPack and the numbering is incorporated into the product version, eg. 6.0.2.4, 6.0.2.5. _________________ Glenn |

And remember, everything else on the computer needs maintenance too:
- Operating System maintenance/patches
- Firmware
- I/O Drivers
- All other software involved
- Any network devices between you and the target
- SAN
- And so on..
So, if you only update WMQ, that won't necessarily make it 100% |
