I installed MQ client 6.0.2.3 on linux. Later i found 6.0.2.5 is the latest version. Can i keep 6.0.2.3 or i need no uninstall 2.3 and install 2.5?

is there any difference b/w above versions? I assume nothing wrong with installtion 6.2.3? Please help me ASAP?

WebSphere MQ Version 6.0.0.0 is the base code release. Subsequent Fix Packs/Refresh Packs change the 'version' that is installed, hence 6.0.2.3.

The Fix Packs/Refresh Packs update the installation, there is no need to uninstall what you already have.

Thanks for reply.it seems you talking about MQ server version. For MQ client i think there is no seperate base and fixpacks. i download MQclient6.0.2.3 tar file from IBM site and installed. mai know is there any way to upgrade client 6.02.3 to 6.0.2.5 or can can i keep 6.0.2.3?

6.0.2.5 contains more fixes.
