Hello
My name is Mark Harper and I am an Executive Recruiter in the Technology sector of the NY Financial Markets. I am presently conducting a retained search for a premiere NY based client of mine to locate a Messaging Expert with strong MQ or Active MQ experience.
My client is a very dynamic and fast growing software based services company serving a high volume trading sector of the financial market place.
The role is to further develop and support all existing and future aspects of the product that are messaging critical. The person will first analyze/stabilize and improve the present solution – as well as be responsible for all architecture and future changes to product. They will be provided with a team of 1 to 2 people to eventually manage through the daily maintenance, etc.
This candidate will own the messaging aspects of the product in an Open Architecture environment.
There are multiple opportunities across the technology platform that this role may grow to cover – but without expertise in messaging – candidates will not be considered. Broader horizon for example – It would ideal if prospective candidate could potentially manage the entire suite of hardware and configuration – along with network design and optimization…
However, at this time the emphasis and need is for a messaging expert – if the candidate has no management ability – then he/she will be engaged solely as a technical expert – again, this would not be a problem.
This position will offer the right individual a growth opportunity from a technical, as well as, a business perspective, that I feel will be difficult to match in today's market.

Hi Harper,
I feel comfortable with the requirement, but is this fulltime or contract? if so, can i work remote and also is it expense paid if it requires onsite?? |
