We are trying to build an RFH2 header and write a message to a queue with a usr folder. The person doing the WTX work is building the RFH2 header with usr folder by hand and calculating the length fields for the name/value area. This is proving an issue. Has anyone done this. I would love to see an example map. No matter what he does when Broker reads the data in at the next flow the parser is puking on the RFH2 header. RFHUTIL doesn't like it either. One of the big issues is the area divisable by 4.

Is there a compelling reason not to use RFJUtil / RFHUtilc to build the message?
If this is a programing issue, is there a compelling reason not to use XMS?

Neither RFHUTIL nor XMS are callable from within WTX or Message Broker, F.J.

I thought that the broker would take care of length and alignment of the RFH folder... and as such no need to build by hand...
If the purpose is to build a test message, my question above stands and I'd even go as far as to add if there is a good reason not to use JMS, or the test tool of the toolkit, to build that test message?
Maybe this is strictly a WTX thing and I do know next to nothing about WTX...
Bobbee can you enlighten us? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
