Hi everyone,
Would like to know if there are any special considerations to be taken care of while writing MQ C applications (C programming) on Tru64?
Are there any features of MQSeries that the Tru64 does not support? If you have some C sample code specific to Tru64, do send it across.
I'm going through the info center but would like to know if you've already come across this. I came across that the MQCONNX is not supported. Would like your suggestions.
Well I dont think that there is a code whic is specific to Tru64. As a matter of fact the code can be from Solaris, HPUX or any other UNIX. The difference lies how you compile the C code. You can get that info from the Application Programming Guide book.
As far as the limitations are concerned, MQCONNX is supported on Tru64 ( I am not sure which version of MQ you are using. I am using 5.1 and it works). One limitation which I came across is that I failed to create a distribution list while connecting to a MQ V5.1/Tru 64 in client mode. Though it works fine while connecting in bind mode.
