Hi,
I don't know where to put this topic !
I have a problem related to COD and RACF .
Application on UNIX issue a request of COD to a Queue Manager located on Mainframe which is supposed to send it back to the Queue Manager located on UNIX .
Z:Os : Queue Manager name is CSQ3 , Xmit queue name is QMINT
UNIX : Queue Manager name is QMINT
I have following message in Z:Os :
ICH408I JOB(CSQ3MSTR) STEP(CSQ3MSTR) CSQ3.QMINT CL(MQQUEUE
INSUFFICIENT ACCESS AUTHORITY
ACCESS INTENT(UPDATE ) ACCESS ALLOWED(NONE )
Can somebody help ? |

COD's are PUT under the userid contained in the message, therefore if the UNIX user, e.g. myuser, does not exist at the z/OS end, and is authorised to the object, you'll get this 'error'.
As an aside, why are you using COD's? There is discussion somewhere on this site regarding COD's - mostly (IIRC) that they are redundant. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

You are right , looking at the message which goes to Z/Os
DEAD.LETTER.QUEUE , there is no userid in the message
I wonder why ... |
