Using the instruction in the cluster manual?

Why not? What happens?

What cluster? There's no such actual component. What are you actually trying to remove?

Any luck organising that training yet?

i mean queue manager cluster..

yes i followed the docuemnt of queue manager clusters..

i have deleted sender and receiver channels of full repository which was the only queue manager in the cluster after i deleted another 2 QMs

and i made refresh command .. and also from MQ Explorer "remove queue manager form cluster " option also..

it was telling .. the request was accepted..

but i m still able to see my queue manager cluster with that full repository queue manager..

what i need to do ..

Learn to ignore it?

Verify that the queue manager does not believe it's an FR still. If it doesn't, see my point above.

I repeat, there's no such construct as a cluster. Even if the MQExplorer, for clarity, has a section for displaying cluster details.

yes now.. i did the steps again for removing all queue managers from cluster.. now i m able to remove the QMs from queue manager cluster..

when i saw MQ Explorer queue manager clusters folder..

still the cluster name is displaying with no source provider icon..

i want to delete this also from my mqexplorer..

because i want to create another cluster with the same name..

when i try to add QMs to that existing cluster it is asking to select one of the QM, but there were no QMs as Full repositories..

that is the problem.. thats why i want to delete it from my MQExplorer

can anybody help me
thanks in advance

Did you remove the CLUSSDR and CLUSRCVR channels from the last FR? Did you set the REPOS or REPOSNL attributes to (' ') in the two queue managers which were FR's?

Make sure when you delete the FR, all the PRs need to be recreated from scratch as the partials are pointing to FR's UUID(QMID) and not with the FR QMgr name.

You rae saying in your MQExplorer, you still see the cluster name without the QMgr names under it, correct?. Then what is the problem in adding other QMgrs to the same cluster as you want to have the cluster name same as older one?.

NOTE there should be no need to recreate any qmgr from scratch!!
MQ is not windows where if something is not quite working as desired you reboot first...

There are two certifications, Administrator and Solution Designer. As to which is more relevant to you, your working environment will dictate that.

Search on this site, there are plenty of posts that detail where you can get information on preparation materials.

Any chance you might answer Vitor's question?

Sorry about that...

After I reboot, and follow the steps to remove the qm from cluster using MQSC commands.. it worked for me..

I m working as Developer ,I have 2.5 years experience in Software Industry.. so can u tell me which one suits for me administrator or Solution Designer..??

Thanks In advance

I'll add to that, get some training first, then some experience to consolidate the training.
