Info center of MQ V6 shows that: If the administration structure fails and the queue manager is running at Version 6.0, the structure is reallocated and rebuilt automatically without the queue manager terminating.
I did a test to deactive the CF LPAR where the admin structure of QSG lie in. But I haven't seen the expected result. The QMGRs terminated with below messages in the LOG:
Any one can give help about this question? or share the result if you also tried such scenario?

Yes, I have searched reason code 00C510AB. It only shows 'The CF structure has failed or connection to it has been lost.'
I also found that in Redbook WebSphere MQ in a z/OS Parallel Sysplex Environment which based on MQ V5.3, the queue manager will terminate with reason code 00C510AB when structure failed.
But I suppose in MQ V6 the queue manager should not terminate when structure failed. Anybody have tried such a test scenario?
For that two APARs, I will check. Thanks for fjb. |
