Hi

I hope this post makes sense to you:

we have a need to install WBIMB 5.0 on solaris server where we have already installed WMQ 6 CSD02.

We tried to install the WBIMB 5 on top of the WMQ6, but it keeps failing saying that it cant find the WMQ5.3 installation as a prerequiste.

i know that WBIMB5 works with WMQ6, as we have it already in place. But in that case, we had WBIMB5 with WMQ5.3 first, then we uninstalled WMQ5.3 and put in WMQ6, and everything worked as before.

But in this case we are gong the other way around, by doing WMQ6 first and now attempting to put the WBIMB5 on. hence the errors, and the question

We could uninstall WMQ6 and put on WMQ 5.3, and hopefully the installation of WBIMB 5 will be ok. then uninstall WMQ5.3 and put back on WMQ6. but in terms of the quickest solution, i was wondering if i may ask the question below

is there a way of making the WBIMB5 installation recognise that WMQ6 is already installed, so that it can continue with the installation?
