Can I use JOTM transaction manager to coordinate XA resources such as websphere mq and ms sql database?. I intend to do money transfer from account 1 to 2. It's a two phase commit transaction. Please advice.

Define JOTM transaction manager. Is it XA compiant? Is it J2EE compliant? Is it JCA compliant?
Check out the mq.rar package...

JOTM = Java Open Transaction Manager
JOTM = XA compliant, JTA compliant, J2EE compliant.
