While working on a cluster one dynamic channel got the wrong CONNAME attribute, the qmgr it is trying to reach is not running on 1414 but the CONNAME was set automaticly to only the IP, so it fails. I have manually created the channel as a cluster sender with the correct CONNAME including the correct port, BUT the dynamic channel keeps the old CONNAME.
Is there a way to change the parameter or to delete de dynamic channel because I just can't make it point to the correct conname ?

Yes, as documented in the WMQ Clusters manual:
1. take the object out of the cluster by altering the cluster attribute to CLUSTER(' ').
2. alter the CONAME attribute to the correct ip(port).
3. put the object back in the cluster by altering the CLUSTER attribute to the cluster name. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Mmmm ... not all that elegant, but the following process worked for me:
1. Change cluster to cluster(' ') for all clussdr and clusrcvr definitions of the channel
2. Refresh the cluster on all queue managers which use the cluster
3. Change the conname, checking all clussdr and clusrcvr definitions of the channel
4. Change cluster field back to include cluster name

I would follow the Cluster Manuals advice:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqv6/v6r0/topic/com.ibm.mq.csqzah.doc/qc13100_.htm
If the channel with the wrong info is of the type CLUSSDR, you fix the local definition. If the retrying channel is of the type CLUSSDRA or CLUSSDRB, nothing you do on the local cluster sendr channel will help; you have to fix the remote cluster receiver channel and let the change propogate thru the cluster. _________________ Peter Potkay
