Reviewed the Monitoring MQ pdf for v6 MQSeries and specifically
the section regarding the amqsmon sample program. The documentation mentions STATINT to set the polling interval. Examples show 30 minutes but dictates it is adjustable. An example of how to use amqsmon shows "amqsmon -m <qmgr> -t statistics -q <qname>". If I understand correctly, before data can be extracted, the command `echo "reset qmgr type(statistics)"|runmqsc <qmgr>` needs to be run. Doesn't any stored statistic information get lost after each STATINT or is it carried over? Does statistic information only get lost after a reset? I want to be able to collect information on numerous queues over the span of a day but I seem to be losing information after the polling interval is exceeded. Do I need to adjust it to 86400 seconds for a days worth?
