I am using amqsmon to bring down statistic messages on a queue.

Commands used within the perl script are:

`echo "reset qmgr type(statistics)"|runmqsc $qmgr`;

@data = `./amqsmon -m $qmgr -t statistics -b -q $read_queue |grep -i -e queuename -e putcount -e getcount -e putbyte -e getbyte`;

Output from the script displays the Queue Name, Total Puts, Total Gets, and Total Bytes.

It appears that execution of the script does not immediately capture all of the events.

Subsequent execution of the script shows the put and get counts rising until it catches up with current data.

Is there a way of forcing this to ensure all statistic messages are dumped prior to iterating over the captured information?

Any help you can provide on this would be greatly appreciated.
