Hi,
I am trying to create a Q Mgr using a user other than mqm (on Linux). The MQ version is 6.0. I have already included the user in mqm group.
The following is reported in the FDC logs.

is your user a part of mqm group.... |
and did you logout and log back in after having changed the group membership of the user before trying to execute the command?
At the very least you should have run (IIRC) newgrp - (the dash is part of the command).
