Hi all,
I need to automate the installation of Websphere MQ Client 6.0 and then deploy it using SMS 2003. I am looking how to create the package, I tried two different command and both don't work.
there are the command:
msiexec /i "IBM WebSphere MQ.msi" ALLUSERS=1 /qb /l "%systemroot%\Temp\Deploiement\IBM\Websphere MQ Client\Installation.log"
which gave me this error:
"One or more problems occurred. Review the trace and/or log file for details. (AMQ4739)"
And there is the second command I tried.
mqparms.exe /q MQPLANGUAGE=existing MQPLOG="%systemroot%\Temp\Deploiement\IBM\Websphere MQ Client\Installation.log" MQPSMS="1" AGREETOLICENSE="yes" REMOVEFEATURES="yes" USEINI="0"
but this one the error was:
mqparms.exe is not a valid win32 applications. something like that.
Does anyboy can help me to solve this problem please! |

For your silent install, and especially on windows, you should also add the parm file_in_use=OK or the right form equivalent. Browse the forum, it has been described more than once.
